Department Functions
 The Department provides
complete police, fire, and emergency medical services, as
well as the related specialty programs, under one agency.
The Department is proud of its accomplishments and equally
proud of its ability to perform all the tasks required of
the three related services. All members are dedicated to
the mission of providing the best police, fire and emergency
medical services we can. We are committed to meet the challenges
of our ever-changing community and professions.
As with all public safety agencies, we rely on the trust
and cooperation of the public to successfully carry out
our mission and will continue to build upon that cooperation
