 The
program is an inclusive year-round after school program
for 120 elementary age youth. Participants are provided
with a safe and enriching environment after school, during
early release days, and teacher planning days.
- Hours of operation:
- 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm during school
days
- 7:30 am – 6:00 pm during school holidays
- Daily transportation is provided from Greenacres, Liberty
Park, Cholee Lake, Diamond View and Heritage Elementary
Schools on school days.
- Some activities include Computers, Athletics, Karate,
Homework assistance, and Cooking.
- Registration is ongoing for the program.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT C.A.R.E.S.
The City of Greenacres C.A.R.E.S. program has many opportunities
for volunteers who are 17 years of age or older for the
following activities: Reading, Homework Assistance
and Arts & Crafts.
